The local community are invited to celebrate Christmas at a community carol service on Thursday 20 December.
The Borough Council of Wellingborough has partnered with All Hallows Church to organise the festive service, which will take place at 6pm outside All Hallows Church on the town’s market place.
The Mayor of Wellingborough, Cllr Malcolm Ward will be attending the service. Speaking ahead of the event, he said: “I am very much looking forward to the annual carol service outside All Hallows Church. I would encourage everyone to come along and join us for this special occasion and spread some festive cheer. Wrap up warm and enjoy the carols accompanied by the band of the salvation army.”
Leader of the Borough Council of Wellingborough, Cllr Martin Griffiths, said: “The annual carol service provides people from across the borough with the opportunity to come together and celebrate Christmas. I would encourage everyone to come along and enjoy the festive carols.”
All Hallows Church Band will be playing during the service, and hot drinks and mince pies will be available afterwards.
