Kettering man pleads guilty to possessing prohibited images

A man from Kettering has pleaded guilty to possessing prohibited images of children.

Matthew Stainthorpe, 23, from Regent Street, Kettering, pleaded guilty to the offence at Northampton Crown Court and was sentenced on 18 December, 2018, to a three year conditional discharge and placed on the sex offenders register for three years.

Stainthorpe was arrested in March 2015 and pleaded guilty in 2016. Following a separate trial for other alleged offences, for which he was found not guilty, Stainthorpe was sentenced last month
