Corby Borough Council’s is getting 2019 off to a ‘walking’ start as Walking Football sessions are back from today (Wednesday 9th January).

With no running involved, Walking Football can be enjoyed by people of all ages who prefer a more slow and relaxed approach to sport. Sessions take place at Lodge Park Sports Centre on the all weather floodlit pitch every Wednesday from 6.30 – 7.30pm. For just £3.50 per session, why not come along and try it out? And the best part is – the first session is FREE.

Corby Borough Council’s Lead Member for Community, Cllr John McGhee, said:

“Walking Football was a hit last year, so if you haven’t tried it and are looking for something a bit different, why not come along and give it a go. The first session is FREE so it’s the perfect chance to find out if this is the sport for you.”

There’s no need to book, just come along and play. For more information, please call Corby Borough Council’s Sports Development Team on 01536 464047, or e-mail Information:
