Information from the public is being sought after money was stolen from an ATM in High Street, Rushden.
The incident is thought to have taken place sometime between 7.30pm on Monday, January 7, and 7.30pm on Tuesday, January 8 , when the cash point was found to be damaged with engineers stating that a ‘cash trap’ had been fitted to the machine by thieves.
Anyone with information or anyone who noticed someone tampering with the machine should call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
