Amount of Rubbish in Corby

Lisa Ragosa writes in to say:

“This is not a dig at the people of Corby. But its council.

I live away from this town and visit the town once or twice a year. I’m originally from this town.

But this visit I was so shocked at the rubbish piling up in the streets litter everywhere.

Electrical, mattresses, sofas etc. Piling up in back gardens and front gardens.

Why would you pump so much money into a place that has been turned into a big dumping ground. This has to a joint effort. Between council and community. I visited the town twice last year.

This problem is accumulating way too fast. Take better respect of your town. There has always been a great community spirit in the heart of this town.

It can be done. “
